Awful experience with the waiters and music below what I expected, hopefully I found a better club at the Plano B which way much better ! I really hope I won’t see these humans again !!!
Gare is... alright. Doormen and staff were friendly and helpful. Just my personal opinion of course, but the opening DJ was a bit dull, could have been more imaginative. Headliner was ok but I've experienced much more engaging sets. The place was half empty even by 4am. Drinks weren't cheap, €8 for G+T, €10 for vodka red bull. The sound system was decent, but stay away from the front right - the smoke machine is unnecessary and overpowering. They should focus on better lighting instead imo. Stickers over phone cameras were cringey and unnecessary, they're not the exclusive club they like to think they are. DJs smoking cigarettes during their sets as well as patrons inside the venue, staff didn't seem to care. Most of the crowd seemed decent though
Personally, I found this club to be quite terrible, despite its potential. The music was boring, and it didn't get any better as the night progressed. If you're a fan of good techno, I wouldn't recommend this place. Moreover, the drinks were overpriced for what you get. Although the club has a lot of potential, as a Dutch person, I couldn't enjoy myself here.
Hip-hop man, Guimaraes <3 the place IS great, i loved the music espacelly the begining of the night, a kind of vapor atmosphéric techno i felt so good, i've Never Heard that kind of music in a club before. Just i didnt like the way security treat people like WE are animals in a Factory
I don’t know what has happened to this club but the bouncers in recent months are ignorant and discriminating, the whole idea of making a safe space for techno lovers is absolutely taken away and bc of this simply won’t see any of my friends or me anymore. There are other clubs in the city that deserve attention. The fact that you can’t go out for fresh air is ridiculous, especially taking how small and suffocating the space is inside. Create a safe space for your guests, don’t take yourself too seriously guys- it’s pretty bad for your reputation. using your good location and the fact that there is not many techno clubs around, won’t last forever. Change something!
The reason you're not allowed to take photos/videos inside is simply because there's nothing interesting happening — it's a boring wannabe-berlin techno club with bullheaded staff, dreary crowd, and overpriced bar. Sounds like it used to be a cool place back in the days but now it exudes a problematic vibe
I’ve been to this club many many times in past few years, some times with my friends, others just by myself and it has always been an inclusive and wonderful place for techno lovers, it was by far my favorite club, however management has changed and now they turned it into a club for hookups and normies, they refused entry for me and my friends because we didn’t have enough women in our group. If you’re a techno lover check out other clubs in the city because this one has been ruined.
NOT A TRAIN STATION
If you expect to go to an underground/rave techno club forget it.
They say they are inclusive, put a sticker in your phone camera but when you open the buttons of your shirt they say they kick you out. Also not very queer friendly. Expensive. And way overrated. Sound system is really good tho, and when a good Dj comes it´s worth!
